How do I know if this is right for my business?

Is this a CRM?

No.
A CRM is a filing cabinet you have to work. We are the people who do the work. There is a system underneath running the pipelines, calendars, and conversation history, and you get access to it, but you are not buying software to learn. You are buying a front office that runs without you.

Do I have to replace the tools I already use?

Usually not. We look at what you are running before we recommend changing any of it.
Most of the time we connect to what you have. When something cannot connect, we tell you that on the discovery call, before you have spent a dollar.

Do you tell people they are talking to AI?

Yes. Onyx says so when asked, and discloses it up front wherever the law requires it.
We are not interested in tricking your customers. A concierge that answers at eleven at night is impressive on its own.

Does a real person ever get involved?

Accepted Answer

Whenever it matters. We build handoff points into the workflow, so a conversation that needs judgment, a complaint, a complicated job, an unhappy customer, goes to your team instead of being handled by a machine.
You or your staff can also step into any conversation at any moment, and Onyx stands down.

Can it actually book appointments?

Yes, on the call, in the chat, or over text, straight into your calendar with your availability rules respected.
Confirmations, reminders, reschedules, and no show follow up all run automatically after that.

Can it follow up on its own?

Yes, and this is where most of the recovered revenue comes from. People rarely book on first contact.
Onyx keeps the conversation going by text and email until they book or tell you to stop, without anyone on your team having to remember.

Yes. Review requests go out automatically at the right moment in the customer journey, when the job is done and the customer is happiest.
We can also draft and post your replies so your review profiles stop going stale.

How much of my time does this take?

Expect a couple of hours from you during the build, mostly answering questions about how your business runs and approving what we write.
After launch it is minutes a week. If it turns into a job for you, we have built it wrong.

What does it cost, and why is there a setup fee?

Current pricing is on the packages page. Every engagement has a one time setup fee and a monthly fee.
The setup fee is not an activation charge. It pays for the build, configuring your calendars and pipelines, writing and tuning your concierge, wiring your phone, testing it, and connecting your existing tools. That work happens once, before you go live.

What is the contract, and how do I cancel?

Month to month. Cancel with thirty days written notice, and we need that notice by the fifth of the month to stop the following month's charge. Fees already paid are not refunded.
There is an annual option that reduces what you pay up front. We will walk you through both.

How fast can we start?

Accepted Answer

A straightforward build goes live in days. A full front office with phone routing, integrations, and custom workflows takes longer.
You get a date before you pay anything, not after.

What if I am not technical?

Accepted Answer

Then you are exactly who this is for. We do the building. You get shown the two or three things you will actually touch.
Nobody should have to become an automation expert to stop missing calls.

Who owns my data, and what happens if I leave?

You own it. Your contacts, your conversation history, your call records, all of it is yours while you are with us and yours when you go.
If you leave, we export it and hand it over. We do not hold your customer list hostage to keep your business.

How do you handle consent, recording, and opt outs?

Calls are recorded and callers are told so. Every text carries an opt out, and an opt out is honored across every channel immediately, not just the one it came from.
This is not an afterthought here. It is the part of the business we came from.
